NOTICE OF SOLID WASTE DISPOSAL AND COLLECTION RATE CHANGES
Pursuant to RCW 35A.21.152, the City of Spokane Valley hereby provides notice of new solid waste collection and disposal rates effected by a state-mandated increase in the State Business and Occupation Tax passed by the Washington Legislature which takes effect October 1, 2025. If you live within the City of Spokane Valley and are a customer of Waste Management, please contact Waste Management at 1-877-466-4668 or visit www.wmnorthwest.com/spokanevalley for more information on available services and rates. If you live within the City of Spokane Valley and are a customer of Sunshine Disposal and Recycling, please contact Sunshine at (509) 924-5678 for more information on available services and rates. For changes to transfer station rates at the Spokane Valley Transfer Station on University Road, owned and operated by Sunshine Disposal and Recycling, please contact Sunshine at (509) 924-5678 or visit their website at www.sunshinedisposal.com/commercial/transfer-station/.
