DGA Statement on Alabama GOP Primary Results
DGA Executive Director Meghan Meehan-Draper released the following statement in response to Tommy Tuberville becoming the Republican nominee for governor in Alabama:
"Tommy Tuberville might not even live in Alabama, and he certainly shouldn't be the state's governor. After accomplishing nothing as a U.S. senator except taking away Alabamians' health care and raising their costs, Tuberville is now trying to switch to another office. From high energy costs to business closures and a lack of affordable health care, Alabama faces real challenges that can't be solved from a beach house in Florida."
