Lane Closures Scheduled for Excavation, Rock Slope Protection Project at Northbound US-101 in Corte Madera

Schedule: Project scheduled to begin Friday, July 17 at 8 a.m.

Marin County - Caltrans is scheduled to start a rock slope protection project in Corte Madera along Northbound US-101.

The right lane will be closed on Northbound US-101 on Friday, July 17 between 8 a.m. and noon. Various lanes will be closed the week of Monday, July 20 as well.

The location is about 0.4 miles north of the State Route 131 (SR-131)/US-101 interchange. The project includes excavation and installing Rock Slope Protection for erosion control and for ditches and drainage. Up to three lanes could be closed during night hours later in the project.

Work is scheduled to conclude around October 2026.
