Portion of "A" Street to Temporarily Close Beginning December 29

Lincoln Transportation and Utilities (LTU) today announced that "A" Street between South 48th Street and South Cotner Boulevard will close starting Monday, December 29, for Lincoln Electric System utility work. The work is expected to be completed after 5 p.m. Tuesday, December 30.
The recommended detour is South Cotner Boulevard to South 48th Street.
Travelers are encouraged to seek an alternate route and exercise caution around these closures. LTU appreciates the public's patience during this closure and reminds residents that project dates are subject to change due to weather and unforeseen circumstances.
