Do you know how to access your health care coverage and other support while traveling?
Whether you're out of town for work, vacation, or family, you're covered for care when and where you need it.
With options like 24/7 nurse advice, phone/video calls with a clinician with no appointment needed, or e-visits, members can get the care they need, no matter where they are. And with in-person care available in many states, getting the right care is easy and convenient. All they need to do is kp.org/getcare or open up their KP app to explore care options.

When traveling outside the area, you will want to seek services from the Aetna PPO Network of providers. To find providers, go to https://www.modahealth.com/findcare. Things can happen on the road. Passports get stolen or lost. Unforeseen events or circumstances derail travel plans. Medical problems surface at the most inconvenient times. Travel Assistance can help you navigate these issues and more at any time of the day or night.
City Employees and their spouse are covered with Travel Assistance - and so are kids through age 25 - with your group insurance from Standard Insurance Company (The Standard).
Travel Assistance can help employees and their families prepare for trips and during critical situations while away from home. The program can assist you in finding qualified medical providers, legal services, or with the replacement of lost credit cards and passports. Travel Assistance is not Travel Insurance, but provides for specific support services while traveling.
