Shaheen Applauds Senate Passage of Bipartisan Resolution to Establish October 7 as Energy Efficiency Day

"Energy efficiency is one of the most effective tools we have to help Granite State families save money, support good-paying jobs and build a cleaner energy future," said Senator Shaheen. "With diesel prices at historic highs and energy costs rising as a direct result of the President's war in Iran, I'm proud to continue fighting to protect energy efficiency initiatives and am pleased the Senate came together to pass this bipartisan resolution recognizing Energy Efficiency Day and reaffirming its importance."
