Chinese Ambassador to Liberia Yin Chengwu Meets with UP National Chairman Tarpeh

On September 11, Yin Chengwu, Chinese Ambassador to Liberia, met with Rev. Dr. Luther Tarpeh, National Chairman of the Unity Party(UP). The two sides exchanged views on exchanges and cooperation between the Chinese and Liberia ruling parties.

Yin introduced the Communist Party of China(CPC)'s efforts to  launch a Party-wide education campaign to implement its central leadership's "eight-point decision" on improving work conduct, promoted the Global Governance Initiative (GGI) and the spirit of President Xi Jinping's important speech at the commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War, and expressed the CPC's willingness to strengthen exchanges of governance experience with the UP to enhance the friendship between the two countries and the well-being of the people.

Hon. Tarpeh thanked China for its strong support for Liberia's national development, and said that the UP firmly adheres to the one-China principle and is willing to make every effort to promote the development of relations between the two countries and the two parties.
