Dr. Pam Edwards, director and chair of Campbell University's Catherine W. Wood School of Nursing and assistant dean for Interprofessional Education, has joined the American Interprofessional Healthcare Collaborative (AIHC) and has been appointed co-chair of its Innovating Hub.

The AIHC is a national organization dedicated to advancing interprofessional education and collaborative practice to improve health outcomes. Its Innovating Hub serves as a think tank and action group, developing new strategies, resources, and initiatives that foster collaboration across health professions.

In her role as co-chair, Dr. Edwards will help lead conversations and projects focused on innovative approaches to healthcare education and delivery, working alongside leaders from across the country to strengthen the interprofessional healthcare community.

"This opportunity aligns perfectly with Campbell's commitment to preparing practice-ready healthcare professionals," Edwards said. "I'm excited to collaborate with colleagues nationwide to develop creative, evidence-based solutions that will benefit both learners and patients."
