Deceased motorcyclist identified from fatal crash in the 800 block of Centennial Boulevard

On September 18, 2025, at approximately 4:43 AM, the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) received a call for service regarding a traffic crash in the 800 Block of Centennial Boulevard. Once on the scene, officers discovered that one motorcycle was involved in the crash. Medical personnel responded and attempted life-saving measures. The driver was pronounced deceased on scene.

Due to the nature of the crash, the CSPD Major Crash Team responded to complete the investigation. At this time, excessive speed appears to be a contributing factor in this crash.

On September 19, 2025, the El Paso County Coroner's Office completed an autopsy on the deceased rider and identified him as 27-year-old Hung Pham.

This is the 43rd fatality of 2025 and the 20th motorcycle fatality this year. At this time last year, there were 39 fatalities. There have been 53 fatalities in the last 365 days.
