East Post Oak Road Bridge Replacement Project to soon begin

August 23, 2025

Voter-Approved Project of Norman's Bridge by Bridge Bond Program

E. Post Oak Road will be closed to all traffic between 96th Ave SE and 108th Ave SE beginning Monday, August 25, 2025, for the replacement of the E. Post Oak bridge over a tributary to Jim Blue Creek. The closure is expected to last approximately 120 days, with the road anticipated to reopen in late December 2025. This project marks the second bridge replacement under the City of Norman's Bridge by Bridge bond program.

A signed detour will redirect traffic to alternate routes. Local access will be maintained up to the closure points. All motorists are urged to allow extra travel time and to exercise caution near construction zones.

Questions about the construction may be directed to 405-329-2524 or [email protected].
