Visit of External Affairs Minister to Sri Lanka (December 23, 2025)

External Affairs Minister (EAM) Dr. S. Jaishankar will visit Sri Lanka on 23 December 2025 as Special Envoy of Prime Minister and meet with the Sri Lankan leadership.

2. The visit underscores India's Neighbourhood First Policy and takes place in the context of Operation Sagar Bandhu launched to address the devastation caused by Cyclone Ditwah.
