HHHunt Names New CEO as Part of Leadership Transition

Effective July 1, 2027, HHHunt's current Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Buck Hunt, will step down as CEO, a position he has held since 2013. Assuming the role of Chief Executive Officer will be Ann Kelly, HHHunt's current Chief Financial Officer. As part of this transition, Buck Hunt will retain his role as Chairman.

At that time, Steve Brant, Senior Vice President of Finance and Treasury, will become Chief Financial Officer. Steve Fritz, Chief Operations Officer, will serve alongside Ann Kelly and Steve Brant, and the three will comprise the HHHunt Executive Leadership Team.

While Buck Hunt's role is changing, his commitment to HHHunt remains strong. HHHunt has been an important part of his life for decades. Growing up in the family business, he followed in the footsteps of his father, Harry H. Hunt III, HHHunt Founder, learning the business firsthand through a variety of company roles. Over the past 13 years, Buck has guided HHHunt through divestitures, acquisitions and the creation of the company's vision, mission, brand promises and values, all while carrying forward the legacy his father began.

In keeping the role of Chairman, he will continue to help guide HHHunt's long-term strategy. Additionally, his focus will turn to leading a new hospitality venture for the company, creating another opportunity to accelerate HHHunt's growth and evolution.

Ann Kelly, a graduate of Virginia Tech, will step into the CEO role well-positioned to lead HHHunt. She joined HHHunt in 2001 and spent her first 10 years as Controller for HHHunt Homes, gaining firsthand insight into the construction industry.

She then served as Vice President of Finance and Accounting and Senior Vice President of Finance and Risk Management before being named Chief Financial Officer in 2019 where she has led corporate finance and accounting functions across all HHHunt business lines. In addition to her HHHunt leadership roles, Ann has extended that commitment to the greater community through her involvement on the boards of the Goochland Education Foundation, GoochlandCares and Virginia Tech's Blackwood School of Real Estate.

Steve Brant joined HHHunt in 2006 as Controller for HHHunt Communities. He was promoted to Vice President of Finance and Accounting in 2013 and has held his current role as Senior Vice President of Finance and Treasury since 2019. Steve graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree in Economics and holds an MBA from Averett University.

Steve Fritz, Chief Operations Officer since 2019, holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Maryland. He joined HHHunt in 2015 as General Manager of HHHunt Homes of Raleigh and was promoted to President of HHHunt Homes in 2017. Steve has held the role of president on divisional and regional levels with several of the largest publicly traded homebuilders in the country.
