Submissions for Rep. Weaver’s Citizen Spotlight Taken Through November 15

Reminder! There is a week left to submit nominations for my Citizen Spotlight feature. We have had several submissions so far, but we are looking for more!

Do you know somebody in your community who goes above and beyond? We're always on the lookout for people to recognize, and we need your help!

We are looking for stories of how someone has positively impacted your life, made a positive impact in your local community, or shined in a way that is worthy of recognition. No story is too small! For example, maybe a neighbor helped you carry in your groceries, or your child made the honor roll for the first time or for the 10th time!

Honorees will be recognized via my official legislative Facebook page, and official Certificates of Recognition from the Illinois House of Representatives will be issued to them. Please fill out the form at the link below if you would like to nominate someone.

Nominations will be accepted through November 15, 2025. We plan to recognize honorees during this Fall and Winter on a regular basis.
