Savills names new head of residential development sales for Scotland

The move follows the retirement of Carole Mackie, who has led the residential development sales business in Scotland since 2018. Jamie will now oversee the firm's development sales teams across Edinburgh, Glasgow, Newcastle, Leeds, Manchester and Liverpool, bringing together expertise across some of the UK's most active regional housing markets.

In his expanded role, Jamie will work closely with well-established teams across Scotland and northern England to support developers while strengthening connections between regional markets and the wider Savills national and international network.

The appointment comes as residential development markets continue to evolve, with developers increasingly seeking access to broader buyer audiences and integrated sales strategies that combine local market knowledge with national reach.
