The President of Georgia, Mikheil Kavelashvili, has nominated Zurab Pataradze to the Supreme Council of the Autonomous Republic of Achara for approval as Chairman of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Achara.
According to the President, this decision was made following consultations with political entities represented in the Supreme Council of Achara and was formalized with the countersignature of the Prime Minister of Georgia.
As Mikheil Kavelashvili noted, Zurab Pataradze possesses an in-depth knowledge of the Achara region, and he expressed confidence that, drawing on his expertise and extensive experience, Pataradze will continue to carry out his duties effectively for the benefit of the region.
"Zurab Pataradze has many years of experience in public service. Over the course of his career, he has worked productively and successfully in the diplomatic service, where he has represented and defended Georgia's interests with distinction in the international arena. He holds the diplomatic rank of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary.
It is noteworthy that from 2016 to 2018, Mr. Pataradze served as Chairman of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Achara. His tenure is associated with the implementation of a number of significant and successful projects in the region.
Mr. Pataradze is a native of Achara and possesses a thorough understanding of the region's needs and potential. I am confident that, drawing upon his knowledge and extensive experience, he will continue to carry out his duties effectively for the benefit of the region. I wish Mr. Pataradze every success," stated Mikheil Kavelashvili.
The President of Georgia, Mikheil Kavelashvili, expressed his gratitude to Sulkhan Tamazashvili for his productive service as Chairman of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Achara.
"In conclusion, I would like to thank Mr. Tamazashvili for his fruitful work in the position of Chairman of the Government of Achara and wish him success in his new, responsible, and nationally significant role," stated Mikheil Kavelashvili.
The event was held at the Presidential Palace of Georgia and was attended by the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, the Minister of Internal Affairs, Sulkhan Tamazashvili, members of the Parliament of Georgia, and representatives of the Supreme Council of the Autonomous Republic of Achara.
