Joe Karnaz Receives Dave Tree Distinguished Service Award at Purdue’s 2026 Herrick Conferences

We're proud to recognize Joe Karnaz for his outstanding contributions to the refrigeration industry and his continued leadership within the technical community.

At the 2026 Herrick Conferences at Purdue University, Joe presented a peer-reviewed paper, "Future Considerations for Refrigeration Lubricants," and served as a session chair, sharing insights with industry and academic experts from around the world. The biennial conference, established in 1972, is recognized as one of the premier forums for advancing refrigeration, air-conditioning, and building performance technologies.

Joe has been an active participant in the conference since 1990, presenting technical papers and helping shape industry conversations. Since 2010, he has also served on the conference's Advisory Committee.

During this year's luncheon, Joe received the Dave Tree Distinguished Service Award, a prestigious recognition presented to individuals who have demonstrated exceptional dedication through years of volunteer service and support for the success of the Herrick Conferences.
