The Nashville Department of Emergency Communications (DEC) is proud to announce the promotion of three communications professionals whose service and leadership continue to support public safety operations across Nashville.
Bradley Sadler has been promoted from Emergency Communications Supervisor to Emergency Communications Manager. Sadler is a 13-year department veteran. He spent nine years as an emergency dispatcher before being promoted to supervisor in 2022. In his new role, Sadler will serve in the Operations Division, supporting frontline communications personnel and operational response coordination.
Suzanne Ramsey has been promoted from Emergency Dispatcher to Emergency Communications Supervisor. Ramsey is a six-year department veteran and has previously served in an interim supervisor role, supporting shift leadership and daily operations.
The department is also proud to announce the promotion of Sarah Hartley from Emergency Dispatcher to Emergency Communications Supervisor. Hartley is a 12-year department veteran recognized for strong leadership, mentorship of peers, and operational consistency. She was named Dispatcher of the Year in 2024, recognizing performance, professionalism, and service to the community.

The Nashville Department of Emergency Communications serves as Nashville's first point of contact during emergencies, providing 24/7 communications support for police, fire, and EMS response across the community.
Department leadership remains committed to strengthening operations through experienced leadership, training, and continued investment in personnel development to support emergency response services for residents and visitors.
