Willkie advised Nimble Partners as lead investor in a Series D preferred stock financing of up to $160 million for Reliable Robotics, the leader in autonomous aircraft systems focused on improving safety, accessibility and operational efficiency within both commercial and defense aviation industries.
Nimble Partners led the Series D financing with continued support from investors Eclipse, Lightspeed, Coatue and Pathbreaker Ventures. New investors include Island Green Capital, Socium Ventures (Cox Enterprises), AE Ventures (a strategic partner of the Boeing Company), RTX Ventures, and Presidio Ventures (Sumitomo Corporation), among others.
Reliable Robotics is currently pursuing FAA certification for its Reliable Autonomy System (RAS) and plans to accelerate the deployment of its autonomous aircraft technology.
Nimble Partners is a multi-stage venture capital firm that partners with investors and innovators through fund commitments, direct investments, and secondary transactions across the life cycle of private technology companies.
The Willkie team was led by corporate partner Yian Huang and included associates Geeth Makepeace, Leilani Lu and Natalie Rau.
