Introduction of the Euro - Deadlines and Тemporary Interruptions

Dear clients,

The New Year will come soon and with regard to the introduction of the euro in the Republic of Bulgaria, we inform you about important deadlines, planned temporary interruptions and recommendations, related to the technological processes associated with switching to the new currency.

Recommendations for preparation

In order to pass through the holidays calmly and without any surprises, we recommend:

• Plan in advance your important transfers and payments - effect them before the below specified deadlines.
• Ensure sufficient cash for the New Year's Eve, considering possible short interruptions for card payments and ATMs.
• If you plan to travel or expect greater expenditure, think of advance payment and/or preliminary provision of the necessary means.
• Think of your regular payments (electricity, water supply, Internet, local taxes and charges, insurance polices, vignette, etc.) - we recommend that you make the payments in advance.
  

Update of CCB Mobile

At the end of December 2025 CCB Plc plans technological update of the mobile application CCB Mobile, which prepares the service for working under the conditions of switching to the euro. We recommend that you install the newest version from the app store immediately after its publication, in order to guarantee the smooth working of the service.

Temporary limitations for registrations/new applications

In the period of the technological processes of switching to the euro there may be temporary limitation of registrations, updates and submission of new applications via the digital channels (CCB Mobile and CCB Online).

Planned temporary interruptions and deadlines

1) Budget payment requests (SEBRA)

• Accepting budget payment requests SEBRA in the bank offices and the digital channels: until 23.12.2025 the latest (included).
  

2) Digital channels - CCB Mobile and Internet banking (CCB Online)

• Till 14:30 p.m. on 30.12.2025 the Bank will accept payments via the digital channels, with the exception of budget payment requests SEBRA.
• There will be a temporary interruption of the access to the services from 14:30 p.m. on 30.12.2025, with recovery of the digital channels on 02.01.2026 from 12:00 o'clock.
  

3) Utility Bills (generation and payment of bills)

• Payments of utility bills may be effected till 14:00 p.m. on 30.12.2025.
• After 01.01.2026 all liabilities will have to be generated again,because the amounts, received before 01.01.2026, will not be up-to-date.
  

4) Payments with cards, online purchases, digital portfolios, POS terminals and ATMs

There will be a temporary interruption of the access to the services from 21:00 p.m. on 31.12.2025 till 01:00 a.m. on 01.01.2026.

In this period there may be limitations /interruptions for:

• Payments with cards at POS terminals (in shops, restaurants, petrol stations, etc.);
• Online purchases with cards;
• Payments via digital portfolios (incl. Apple Pay and Google Pay, when they are card based);
• Operations at ATM (withdrawal/depositing).
  

Important for the CCB Club program:

In the period from 15:30 p.m. on 30.12.2025 to 00:00 o'clock on 03.01.2026 it will not be possible to accrue and pay with bonus points at the trade shops, included in the CCB Club program.

Important for the ATMs after 01.01.2026:

• After 00:00 o'clock on 01.01.2026 it will be possible to withdraw amounts only in euro at the ATMs.
• Depositing funds will be possible only in BGN till 29.12.2025.
• On 01.01.2026 ATMs will resume operation (stage by stage, if necessary).

5) Incoming transfers

• The incoming transfers to accounts with CCB Plc received till 15:30 p.m. on 30.12.2025 will be accepted and credited to the respective client accounts.
  

6) Bank offices (branches)

• Till 12:00 o'clock on 30.12.2025 the Bank will accept payments in the bank offices, with the exception of budget payment requests SEBRA.
• The Bank branches will open on 05.01.2026 with standard working hours.
• From 05.01.2026 you will be able to exchange at the cashiers BGN in exchange for EUR at the fixed rate BGN 1,95583 for EUR 1 without any fees for you, as well as to deposit BGN on your account in EUR without charges.
