Bitron strengthens its presence in the industrial automation and utility solution with the acquisition of Calvi Sistemi.

Bitron Electronics S.p.A., a company of the Bitron Group, has acquired Calvi Sistemi S.r.l., a company specializing in the development of technologies for remote control and automation of gas distribution networks and integrated water management systems.

The acquisition expands Bitron's expertise in utility-specific technologies, integrating Calvi Sistemi S.r.l.'s know-how in the design of customized systems, maintenance and calibration services, and data analysis applied to infrastructure management.

Calvi Sistemi also develops solutions for detecting and reducing water leaks, as well as technologies for monitoring the energy efficiency of pumping stations.

The integration of the two companies' technological and industrial expertise will enable the development of new synergies and a more comprehensive offering to support digitization and efficiency improvement processes within water and gas distribution networks.
