College Park Man Sentenced for Impersonating a Child Online to Entice Young Girls to Send Him Explicit Images and Videos

ATLANTA - Dye'Shuan Green, who pressured girls as young as nine years old to send him sexually explicit photos and videos online, has been sentenced to nearly 17 years in federal prison for production of child sexual abuse material.

"The Court's sentence holds a predator accountable for his reprehensible acts and ensures he won't victimize another child for most of the next two decades," said U.S. Attorney Theodore S. Hertzberg, "This case also serves as a reminder to parents and caretakers about the dangers deviant criminals like Green pose to young people online."

"Posing as a child and then pressuring children, among the most vulnerable members of our society, to produce sexually explicit and harmful material is unconscionable," said Marlo Graham, Special Agent in Charge of FBI Atlanta. "The FBI, alongside our local, state, and federal partners, will relentlessly work to bring justice to the victims and their families."

According to U.S. Attorney Hertzberg, the charges, and other information presented in court: In 2022, a mother in Columbus, Georgia reported to the Columbus Police Department that her daughter had been manipulated by a man, who was posing as a child online, to send nude images of herself. The FBI then conducted a multi-year investigation, which revealed that Green had preyed on young girls across the country.

The investigation established that Green targeted young girls on social media and gaming sites and pretended that he was a boy their age. Green befriended them, convinced them that he loved them and wanted a relationship with them, and discussed having sex with them. Green then relentlessly begged and threatened victims to produce sexually explicit photos of themselves to send him, and many girls sent nude images to him. A review of Green's phone and social media accounts showed that he chatted online with hundreds of young girls as part of his scheme.

On October 13, 2026, U.S. District Judge Sarah E. Geraghty sentenced Dye'Shuan Green, 23, of College Park, Georgia, to 16 years, 10 months in prison to be followed by 15 years of supervised release. Green pleaded guilty to one count of production of child sexual abuse material and four counts of enticement to create child sexual abuse material on June 29, 2026.

This case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, with valuable assistance provided by the Columbus Police Department.

Assistant United States Attorneys Matthew R. LaGrone and Leanne M. Marek prosecuted the case.
