Know students looking to elevate their leadership skills? Consider nominating students today for the LeaderShape Institute, hosted by the Student Involvement and Leadership Center.
This four-day leadership program is open to all students (undergraduate and graduate) who are continuing at Boise State in the Fall 2026 semester. There is no cost to the students and everything is provided. There are even need-based scholarships available for students who may experience financial hardship for missing work.
The LeaderShape Institute is one of Student Involvement and Leadership Center's most exciting annual leadership programs. This program in the mountains of Idaho will challenge students to lead with integrity while working towards a vision grounded in their deepest values. This year's event will be held from May 12-15, 2026 in Cascade. Over 500 students from Boise State have participated in the past and over 78,000 students have participated internationally across 50+ colleges since the program's creation.
Past participants shared that this was one of the most impactful programs at Boise State for their personal growth. Students also shared that they felt more energized by their organizations, motivated to pursue new projects, and identified skills to navigate conflict, challenges and problem solving. The capacity to lead is a skill that employers say they want from recent college graduates regardless of their major.
The priority deadline for students to apply is April 15. The application will remain open to fill remaining spots or the waitlist.
