No Passport Required: Explore the World from Downtown Concord at the 6th Annual Concord International Festival

No passport? Flight anxiety? No problem! Experience the sights, sounds, and flavors of more than 50 countries from around the world at the 6th Annual Concord International Festival, presented by El Puente Hispano and the City of Concord. The festival returns to Downtown Concord on Saturday, October 3, from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. Applications to join the festival as a sponsor or vendor are available online and close September 1, 2026.

"Traveling to continents around the globe to experience the music, foods, and cultures that make us a vibrant and richly diverse community simply isn't possible for everyone," said Mayor Steve Morris. "It's an honor to join with El Puente Hispano to transform Downtown Concord each year and bring those experiences to residents, connecting the people and places that make our city such a special place to call home."

Recently, Concord earned top honors in North Carolina and ranked No. 24 overall on Livability's Top 100 Best Place to Live in the U.S. in 2026. The Concord International Festival celebrates the diverse cultures and traditions that help distinguish Concord as one of the nation's best places to live, work, and raise a family.

"The festival is a reflection of our community at its best-diverse, vibrant, and connected," said Sandra Torres, President of El Puente Hispano. "It is a space where people feel seen, where cultures are celebrated, and where every family knows they belong."

The festival attracts thousands of visitors to Downtown Concord, offering a full day of shopping, music and dance performances, international food vendors, and a kids' zone. Last year, more than 50 countries were represented, including over 80 artists on stage and nearly 70 unique arts and crafts vendors.
