January 28, 2026 Albuquerque, NM - Chairwoman Barela responds to KOAT on Teresa Leger Fernández's recent anti-ICE stunt: "Nearly everything Teresa Leger Fernández does is political theater which only sows hatred and division in New Mexico. 10 months ago, she encouraged her supporters to 'agitate' one day before the arson attack which took place at RPNM's headquarters. If she was really in touch with her constituents, she would show a sliver of concern about the countless families that have been ripped apart by illegal aliens.
