How did the Fund perform over the last year?

For the fiscal year ended May 31, 2026, the Amana Developing World Fund Institutional Shares returned 53.28%, outperforming the Fund's primary benchmark the Bloomberg Emerging Markets Large, Mid & Small Cap Index, which returned 45.91%. For the five years ended May 31, the Investor Shares has an annualized return of 8.84%, versus 6.79% for the primary benchmark. The Amana Developing World Fund's gross expense ratio was 0.98% for the Institutional Shares. The Fund's total net assets stood at $210.62 million, up 56% during the fiscal year. The Fund continues to have a low turnover rate at 14% during the most recent fiscal year, consistent with our overall strategy of investing in companies with long-term growth potential.

Fiscal 2026 was a strong year for emerging markets, outpacing the S&P 500 Index 29.78% return. The defining force was artificial intelligence (AI). Surging demand for advanced semiconductors made Taiwan and South Korea, now nearly half the index, the standout performers. The Fund's positioning across the AI supply chain was an important driver of its results, helping the Fund outperform its benchmark by roughly seven percentage points.

Returns elsewhere were positive but uneven. Chinese equities advanced, though we remain on the sidelines, concerned about governance in the country. India stayed the fastest-growing major economy, with gross domestic product up an estimated 7.4%, yet its equities lagged amid elevated valuations. Emerging market equities have re-rated but still trade at a meaningful discount to developed markets and we continue to see value in the diversification these markets present.

How did the Fund perform over the last year?

For the fiscal year ended May 31, 2026, the Amana Growth Fund Institutional Shares returned 36.70% (versus 5.42% for the fiscal year ended May 31, 2025). The Institutional Shares' fiscal year performance exceeded the Bloomberg US Large Cap Index which returned 29.61%, and the S&P 500 Index which returned 29.78%. The Fund's total net assets increased 28.37% during the fiscal year. For the 10-year period ended May 31, 2026, the Institutional Shares provided an annualized return of 17.84%. Since the Fund's inception on September 25, 2013, the Institutional Shares provided an annualized return of 16.13%.

Stock selection was strong, especially in the Industrial, Information Technology, and Communications sectors. While the artificial intelligence trade remained dominant, it broadened to include adjacent companies, which benefited several of our holdings.

Middle East conflict and increased oil prices have spurred higher inflation. Core inflation has not been as affected but remains above the Federal Reserve's 2% target. High inflation, the potential for higher interest rates and stretched market valuations create uncertainty.

How did the Fund perform over the last year?

For the fiscal year ended May 31, 2026, the Amana Growth Fund Investor Shares returned 36.38% (versus 5.17% for the fiscal year ended May 31, 2025). The Investor Shares' fiscal year performance exceeded the Bloomberg US Large Cap Index which returned 29.61%, and the S&P 500 Index which returned 29.78%. Income is not a Fund investment objective and the Investor Shares did not pay a dividend or distribute capital gains. The Fund's total net assets increased 28.37% during the fiscal year. For the 15-year period ended May 31, 2026, the Investor Shares provided an annualized return of 14.45%. Since the Fund's inception on February 3, 1994, the Investor Shares provided an annualized return of 12.40%.

For the fiscal year ended May 31, 2026, Amana Income Fund Institutional Shares returned 23.28% compared to 8.02% in the same period of 2025. The Bloomberg US Large Cap Index returned 29.61% over the same period. In pursuit of its objective of current income, during the fiscal year, the Institutional Shares distributed a total dividend of $4.05 per share. The Institutional shares expense ratio was 0.74% and the Fund's total net assets were $2.32 billion (at period ended May 31, 2026) up 17% during the fiscal year.

The Fund's strongest contributions came from the continuing artificial intelligence (AI) and data-center investment cycle. Taiwan Semiconductor was the standout, with Broadcom and Cisco Systems also contributing as demand for AI computing infrastructure held up. Eli Lilly added to returns on continued strength in its health care business. On the other side, several of the Fund's more defensive holdings lagged - Nintendo was the largest detractor, followed by Abbott Laboratories, while Consumer Staples holdings Kimberly-Clark and Kenvue also weighed on results.

A wave of very large prospective public offerings - companies such as SpaceX, OpenAI, and Anthropic - could absorb a meaningful share of investor capital in the year ahead, an overhang worth watching. In a market increasingly shaped by a small number of outsized businesses, we believe the Amana Income Fund's focus on durable earnings and income remains a valuable complement in investors' portfolios.

How did the Fund perform over the last year?

For the fiscal year ended May 31, 2026, Amana Income Fund Investor Shares returned 22.99% compared to 7.77% in the same period of 2025. The Bloomberg US Large Cap Index returned 29.61% over the same period. In pursuit of its objective of current income, during the fiscal year, the Investor Shares distributed a total dividend of $3.81 per share. The Investor shares expense ratio was 0.98% and the Fund's total net assets were $2.32 billion (at period ended May 31, 2026) up 17% during the fiscal year.

For the twelve-month period ending May 31, 2026, the Amana Participation Fund Institutional Shares returned 4.37%. For the same period, the Fund's primary benchmark, the Bloomberg Global Aggregate Bond Total Return Index returned 3.26%, and its secondary benchmark, the Bloomberg Custom USD 0+ Sukuk Dual Capped Unhedged USD Index returned 5.14%. The Fund's underperformance relative to these benchmarks is primarily attributable to differences in the Fund's investment objective and portfolio composition, including its underweight position in sovereign issues relative to the respective benchmark weightings.

As of May 31, 2026, the portfolio held 81 investments, comprising 80 sukuk, one murabaha, and cash, with an option-adjusted duration of 3.39 years, a slight decrease from 3.42 years in the prior year. The decision to maintain a broadly similar duration profile reflects a strategic allocation emphasizing ownership of high-quality issuers while reducing duration risk in an interest rate environment marked by heightened volatility in longer-maturity securities.

The Amana Participation Fund reported total assets of more than $321 million as of May 31, 2026, up from more than $257 million in the same period in 2025. We take great pride in offering the Islamic community one of the only fully dedicated Islamic-compliant fixed income mutual fund focused on capital preservation and current income.

How did the Fund perform over the last year?

For the twelve-month period ending May 31, 2026, the Amana Participation Fund Investor Shares returned 4.12%.

Fair
value
measurements:
Accounting
Standards
Codification
(ASC)
820
establishes
a
three-
tier
framework
for
measuring
fair
value
based
on
a
hierarchy
of
inputs.
The
hierarchy
distinguishes
between
market
data
obtained
from
independent
sources
(observable
inputs)
and
the
Funds'
own
market
assumptions
(unobservable
inputs).
These
inputs
are
used
in
determining
the
value
of
the
Funds'
investments
and
are
summarized
below.
Level
1
-
Unadjusted
quoted
prices
in
active
markets
for
identical
assets
or
liabilities
that
the
Trust
has
the
ability
to
access.
Level
2
-
Observable
inputs
other
than
quoted
prices
in
Level
1
that
are
observable
for
the
asset
or
liability,
either
directly
or
indirectly.
These
inputs
may
include
quoted
prices
for
the
identical
instrument
on
an
inactive
market,
prices
for
similar
instruments,
interest
rates,
prepayment
speeds,
credit
risk,
yield
curves,
default
rates,
and
similar
data.
Level
3
−
Unobservable
inputs
for
the
asset
or
liability,
to
the
extent
relevant
observable
inputs
are
not
available,
representing
the
Trust's
own
assumptions
about
the
assumptions
a
market
participant
would
use
in
valuing
the
asset
or
liability,
and
would
be
based
on
the
best
information
available.
The
availability
of
observable
inputs
can
vary
from
security
to
security
and
is
affected
by
a
wide
variety
of
factors,
including,
for
example,
the
type
of
security,
whether
the
security
is
new
and
not
yet
established
in
the
marketplace,
the
liquidity
of
markets,
and
other
characteristics
particular
to
the
security.
To
the
extent
that
valuation
is
based
on
models
or
inputs
that
are
less
observable
or
unobservable
in
the
market,
the
determination
of
fair
value
requires
more
judgment.
Accordingly,
the
degree
of
judgment
exercised
in
determining
fair
value
is
greatest
for
instruments
categorized
in
Level
3.
The
inputs
used
to
measure
fair
value
may
fall
into
different
levels
of
the
fair
value
hierarchy.
In
such
cases,
for
disclosure
purposes,
the
level
in
the
fair
value
hierarchy
within
which
the
fair
value
measurement
falls
in
its
entirety
is
determined
based
on
the
lowest
level
input
that
is
significant
to
the
fair
value
measurement
in
its
entirety.
The
inputs
or
methodology
used
for
valuing
securities
are
not
necessarily
an
indication
of
the
risk
associated
with
investing
in
those
securities.
Investment
concentration:
The
fundamental
policies
of
the
Funds
prohibit
earning
interest,
in
accordance
with
Islamic
principles.
Consequently,
cash
is
held
in
non-interest-bearing
deposits
with
the
Funds'
custodian
or
other
banks.
"Other
assets
(net
of
liabilities)"
in
the
Funds'
Schedules
of
Investments
primarily
represents
cash
on
deposit
with
the
custodian.
Cash
on
deposit
will
vary
widely
over
time.
Accounting
Standards
Codification
("ASC")
825,
"
Financial
Instruments,
"
identifies
these
items
as
a
concentration
of
credit
risk.
The
risk
is
managed
by
careful
financial
analysis
and
review
of
the
custodian's
operations,
resources,
and
protections
available
to
the
Trust.
This
process
includes
evaluation
of
other
financial
institutions
providing
investment
company
custody
services.
ReFlow

in

We
conducted
our
audits
in
accordance
with
the
standards
of
the
PCAOB.
Those
standards
require
that
we
plan
and
perform
the
audits
to
obtain
reasonable
assurance
about
whether
the
financial
statements
and
consolidated
financial
statements
are
free
of
material
misstatement,
whether
due
to
error
or
fraud.
The
Funds
are
not
required
to
have,
nor
were
we
engaged
to
perform,
an
audit
of
the
Funds'
internal
control
over
financial
reporting.
As
part
of
our
audits
we
are
required
to
obtain
an
understanding
of
internal
control
over
financial
reporting,
but
not
for
the
purpose
of
expressing
an
opinion
on
the
effectiveness
of
the
Funds'
internal
control
over
financial
reporting.
Accordingly,
we
express
no
such
opinion.
Our
audits
included
performing
procedures
to
assess
the
risks
of
material
misstatement
of
the
financial
statements
and
consolidated
financial
statements,
whether
due
to
error
or
fraud,
and
performing
procedures
that
respond
to
those
risks.
Such
procedures
included
examining,
on
a
test
basis,
evidence
regarding
the
amounts
and
disclosures
in
the
financial
statements.
Our
audits
also
included
evaluating
the
accounting
principles
used
and
significant
estimates
made
by
management,
as
well
as
evaluating
the
overall
presentation
of
the
financial

and

Our
procedures
included
confirmation
of
securities
owned
as

by
correspondence
with
the

We
believe
that
our
