As of 11:00 pm on Saturday, January 24, 2026, the Snow Emergency declaration, which primarily affects parking regulations, is still in effect.
Please continue to stay off roadways, if possible, since there will be re-icing tonight as temperatures fall. Public Works crews will continue snow clean-up operations into tomorrow.
Remember sidewalks must be cleared, 36 inches in width, within 24 hours of the end of snowfall.
Note it is illegal to throw or plow snow into the street. Please clear corner sidewalk ramps to the street and clear snow from around fire hydrants to help our neighbors and for fire safety.
The Township Offices and Libraries will be CLOSED tomorrow, Monday, January 26, 2026, to allow crews time to clear roads and sidewalks.
Trash and recycling will NOT be collected on Monday, January 26, 2026, and a holiday schedule will be implemented.
Please check the Township's website, www.lowermerion.org, or our Facebook, Instagram and Twitter feed for ongoing information.

Stay safe Lower Merion.
