Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has advised European Sustainable Projects IV S.à r.l., a Luxembourg special purpose holding and investment vehicle belonging to Aquila Group, in connection with the sale of an Italian solar portfolio to Sunprime Holdings S.r.l. (Sunprime).
Milan-based Sunprime is a renewable energy company focused on the development, ownership and operation of photovoltaic and energy storage projects in Italy.
The portfolio comprises of two late-stage photovoltaic development projects located in the Northern Italian region, Emilia-Romagna, with an aggregate capacity of approximately 10 MWp. The projects are situated in the municipalities of Ferrara (FE) and Calderara di Reno (BO).
The Norton Rose Fulbright team was led by Milan-based banking and finance and projects partner Nunzio Bicchieri, who was assisted by senior associate Stefania Casini and trainee Francesca Sobrero.
