Pavement maintenance scheduled for Ashland Road area, Sept. 9-16

(COLUMBIA, MO)- Beginning at 7 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 9, Capital Paving, contractors for the City of Columbia Public Works department, will perform mill and overlay pavement maintenance on several residential Columbia streets on and near Ashland Road.

List of streets

• Canyon Drive from Caniff Circle to the west end of the City street
• Mizzou Place from Caniff Circle to the end of the street
• Caniff Circle from Ashland Road to the south end of the street
• Ashland Road from South College Avenue to East Stadium Boulevard
• Ashland Road from East Stadium Boulevard to the south end of the street

Work hours and traffic impacts
Crews will work daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. "No parking" signs will be posted at least 24 hours in advance on streets where parking is allowed. Please avoid parking in signed areas during working hours.

Temporary lane closures will be required. Traffic control signs and flaggers will guide motorists through work zones as needed. Motorists and pedestrians are encouraged to use caution and consider alternate routes.
