FRC's Tony Perkins Statement on the Trump Administration's Designation of Nigeria as a CPC

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Today President Donald Trump announced his administration is designating Nigeria as a "country of particular concern" in response to the genocide of Christians in the West African country.

Family Research Council President and former Chair of the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom Tony Perkins commented in reaction:

Earlier this year, Perkins testified before the U.S. House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on Africa Hearing on "Conflict and persecution in Nigeria: the case for a CPC designation."
