As part of the City of West Hollywood's continuous efforts to increase voter participation, the City reminds community members that each vote counts and your voice matters. Election Day is Tuesday, November 4, 2025. Make a plan to vote in the California Special Election.
On Monday, October 6, 2025 the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk began mailing each active registered voter a Vote-by-Mail ballot. For an easy-to-use tool to learn about the ways to securely cast a ballot, visit plan.lavote.gov. This site features a Vote Center locator, a Ballot Drop Box locator, an interactive Sample Ballot, and the Where's My Ballot tool. Accessible vote by mail information is also available on the County website.
The deadline to register to vote is Monday, October 20, 2025. If you are unregistered to vote, register today. If you are registered, it is a good idea to check your voter registration and remind friends and family to do the same. Those who will be 18 years old by Election Day can pre-register to vote as well. To register or to confirm your registration, visit the LA County Registrar-Recorder Clerk's website lavote.gov/vrstatus or call (800) 815-2666.
While Election Day is Tuesday, November 4, 2025, there are many ways to vote early. Postal mail-in and ballot-drop-off voting have begun as of Tuesday, October 7, 2025. Many LA County Vote Centers will begin operating on Saturday, October 25, 2025.
