The Security Council will meet today at 3 p.m. to vote on a resolution that would extend the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) mandate for one year, until 31 October 2026. The mandate was last extended on 31 October 2025 (please see Press Release SC/15881 of 31 October 2024).
