Capital Bank Launches “Bright” Account: Smart Savings Solutions for the Next Generation

Capital Bank has announced the launch of "Bright" account, designed specifically for children and young people under the age of 18. The initiative aims to promote financial literacy among the younger generation and help them develop healthy saving habits that lay the foundation for a secure financial future.

"Bright" account provides a practical and secure platform that combines financial safety with engaging incentives, allowing children and youth to save in a fun and responsible way under the supervision and guidance of their parents. Designed to grow with young customers, the account offers banking solutions tailored to their evolving needs at every stage of life.

Commenting on the launch, Nadeem Khitan, Chief Consumer Banking Officer at Capital Bank, highlighted that financial literacy is an essential life skill whose impact is greatest when introduced early. He explained that "Bright" account gives children a strong start toward safe saving practices, while providing parents with the tools needed to guide their children toward responsible financial decision-making.

The new account offers a range of benefits, including welcome gifts for each age group and exemption from minimum balance fees. It also embraces modern technology by introducing smart payment bracelets as a convenient and contemporary payment method. In addition, the account features a partnership with Royal Jordanian, offering exclusive discounts and benefits for young travelers.

To further encourage saving, "Bright" account offers monthly prize draws. Ten winners each month will have the chance to win cash prizes totaling JOD 5,000, provided their account balance is no less than JOD 500. In addition, six winners will be eligible for the grand prize: an educational insurance policy valued at up to JOD 50,000, subject to maintaining a minimum account balance of JOD 1,000.
