President of Georgia Mikheil Kavelashvili, accompanied by an official delegation, is currently in Bratislava, the capital of the Slovak Republic, on an official visit.
An official welcoming ceremony for the President of Georgia was held at Bratislava M. R. Štefánik International Airport.
As part of the visit, an official reception for President Kavelashvili will take place at the Presidential Palace of the Slovak Republic. President Kavelashvili will be hosted by the President of the Slovak Republic, Peter Pellegrini. Both bilateral and extended-format meetings are scheduled, following which a joint statement will be issued to the media.
President Kavelashvili is also scheduled to meet with the Deputy Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic, Denisa Saková and the Speaker of the National Council, Richard Raši.
The Georgian delegation includes Nikoloz Samkharadze, Chair of the Foreign Relations Committee; George Zurabashvili, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia; Konstantine Kvachakidze, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Slovak Republic; and representatives of the Administration of the President of Georgia.
The President's official visit is scheduled to conclude on 3 April.
