On September 6, 2025, a solemn event dedicated to the State Independence Day of the Republic of Tajikistan was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan.

In his opening speech, Minister of Foreign Affairs Sirojiddin Muhriddin noted that, thanks to the promotion of the national leader's global initiatives on current international agenda issues-particularly the preservation of water resources and glaciers-Tajikistan has rightfully earned high authority and recognition on the international stage. In this context, the minister emphasized the adoption this year by the UN General Assembly of a resolution on artificial intelligence, put forward on the initiative of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan.

The Minister also pointed out that, given the formation of a new system of international relations and modern global challenges, Tajikistan has defined the key priorities of its foreign policy, the consistent implementation of which continues within the framework of an "open door" policy.

In a congratulatory speech, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Tajikistan for Foreign Policy issues, Azamsho Sharifi, announced the awarding of Ministry employees with state honors and diplomatic ranks in accordance with the decree of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan.

The event concluded with a swearing-in ceremony for employees who were appointed to public service for the first time.
