Two Injured Following a Shooting in the Cully Neighborhood

Two people were injured following a shooting in the Cully Neighborhood. Homicide Detectives are responding to the scene.

On Sunday, May 3, 2026, at 8:26 p.m., Portland Police Officers assigned to North Precinct responded to reports of gunshots in the area of Northeast 65th Avenue and Northeast Killingsworth Street. When officers arrived, they found a male and a female had been shot. Paramedics responded and both victims were transported to the hospital. The male half's injuries are life threatening.
The Portland Police Detective Division Homicide Unit is responding to the scene to investigate the case. There are no outstanding suspects at this time.
During the investigation, there will be a heavy police presence on Northeast 65th Avenue between Northeast Simpson Street and Northeast Killingsworth Street.
