Meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Venezuela

On September 26, 2025, on the sidelines of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, a meeting was held between the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Sirojiddin Muhriddin and the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela Ivan Gil.

During the talks, the parties discussed the further development and strengthening of bilateral and multilateral relations between Tajikistan and Venezuela, as well as partnership within international organizations. In particular, they commended the positive process of intensifying interstate relations between the two countries and expanding their legal framework, including in light of the first round of political consultations held in Dushanbe in June of this year.

The interlocutors congratulated each other on the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Tajikistan and Venezuela, which will be marked in October of this year.
