Amata Welcomes Emergency Medical Services for Children Grant

Washington, D.C. - Congresswoman Uifa'atali Amata is pleased to welcome notice of a health services EMSC partnership grant for Emergency Medical Services for Children for LBJ Tropical Medical Center designated to American Samoa Medical Center Authority.

This is a discretionary continuation grant of $43,446 from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) through the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA).

"Thank you Lata Allen for the efforts involved in this grant, and the pediatric emergency services it supports. Thank you as always to everyone involved in fulfilling federal qualifications to receive the funds that Congress appropriates," said Congresswoman Amata. "Thank you to the administration of Governor Pulaali'i Nikolao Pula and Lt. Gov. Pulumataala Ae Ae, Jr., as well as HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., and HRSA Administrator Thomas Engels."
