WASHINGTON, D.C - This week, Congressman Rich McCormick announced the inclusion of $15,064,598 in federal community project funding in appropriations legislation passed by the House of Representatives to support local governments in Georgia's 7th District and colleges and universities across Northern Georgia.
"This funding represents real investments in public safety, emergency preparedness, advanced research, education, and infrastructure across Georgia's Seventh District,"said Congressman McCormick. "These projects were driven by local needs and priorities, and I'm proud to deliver resources that will make our communities safer, stronger, and more resilient."
"This is exactly how Congress should work, listening to constituents, working across the aisle, and securing tangible results for the people back home,"McCormick added."I look forward to seeing the positive impact these investments will have throughout the district and state."
