Rep. McCormick Secures More Than $15 Million for Georgia's 7th Congressional District and Northern Georgia

WASHINGTON, D.C - This week, Congressman Rich McCormick announced the inclusion of $15,064,598 in federal community project funding in appropriations legislation passed by the House of Representatives to support local governments in Georgia's 7th District and colleges and universities across Northern Georgia.

"This funding represents real investments in public safety, emergency preparedness, advanced research, education, and infrastructure across Georgia's Seventh District,"said Congressman McCormick. "These projects were driven by local needs and priorities, and I'm proud to deliver resources that will make our communities safer, stronger, and more resilient."

• Forsyth County Sheriff's Office - $277,598 for Crisis Intervention Response Team Expansion
• City of Sandy Springs - $3,031,000 for a Backup Emergency 911 Communications Center
  Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest - $1,700,000 for Public Access Improvements at the Acres & Acres Tract near Dahlonega
