St. Pete Residents Invited to Learn More and Provide Feedback on Sidewalk Master Plan

September 1, 2026 - The City of St. Petersburg is inviting residents to participate in upcoming virtual public meetings to learn more about the City's Sidewalk Master Plan and provide input on priorities for improving the pedestrian network.

The Sidewalk Master Plan will provide a framework for identifying, evaluating, and prioritizing future sidewalk improvements throughout St. Pete. The plan will consider factors such as pedestrian safety, accessibility, connectivity, and community needs to help guide future investments.

At the upcoming meetings, the City and project team will share the sidewalk gap analysis and survey summary and hear directly from residents about their experiences and priorities. Community feedback will help inform the final plan.

Public Meeting Schedule

Tuesday, September 15, at 6 p.m.
Council Districts 2, 3, 4 and 6

Tuesday, September 22, at 6 p.m.
Council Districts 1, 5, 7 and 8

Both meetings will be held virtually. Residents, especially those who walk, bike, use mobility devices, or otherwise rely on the City's pedestrian network, are encouraged to participate and share their input at either meeting, regardless of their City Council District.
