Citizens' Advisory Commission on Federal Areas (CACFA)

Friday, February 13, 2026, and Saturday, February 14, 2026, in Anchorage, at a time to be determined. There will also be a virtual and call-in option.

Proposed Agenda Items Include:

  1. Training on:
    1. CACFA statutes and legislative Intent
    2. Bylaws and Open Meetings Act
    3. Statehood Act, ANSCA, and ANILCA
  3. Election of Officers
  4. Election of Executive Committee
  5. Executive Director Position
  6. Public Comment
  7. Budget

These meetings are open to the public. Periods of public comment/testimony will be available.

Portions of each meeting may be recorded. Written comments may be submitted to CACFA at any time; any comments received will become public records and subject to inspection.
