City of Titusville welcomes first female City Attorney
TITUSVILLE, Fla., Oct. 21, 2025 - The City of Titusville officially welcomed Andriene C. Treasure, Esq., as its new City Attorney on Monday, Oct. 20, marking the start of her tenure as the city's first woman to hold the position of chief legal advisor. Treasure brings more than 25 years of experience in law, primarily representing the public sector, including state agencies, local governments, and non-profits.
"I am excited to be Titusville's newest public servant, ready and willing to serve its council, staff, and citizens," Treasure said during her first official day at City Hall. As City Attorney, Treasure will advise the City Council, City Manager, and all city departments, boards, and commissions. Her responsibilities include drafting and reviewing ordinances and contracts, providing legal counsel, and representing the city in legal matters.
"We're proud to welcome Andriene Treasure as the new City Attorney for the City of Titusville," said Mayor Andrew Connors. "Andriene brings a wealth of legal experience, sound judgment, and a deep commitment to public service. Her guidance will be invaluable as we continue strengthening transparency, accountability, and efficiency in city government."
Treasure most recently served as Assistant City Attorney for the City of West Palm Beach from April 2023 to October 2025. Before that, she served as Assistant City Attorney for the City of Riviera Beach and as Assistant County Attorney for Broward County, where she provided counsel on civil, regulatory, and administrative matters for local government operations.
"I'm looking forward to working alongside a City Attorney with such outstanding credentials and experience as we tackle many of the challenging issues that face the City of Titusville," added City Manager Tom Abbate, "Adrienne has reported aboard with much energy and enthusiasm, and staff is looking forward to her legal guidance and assistance."
"Attorney Treasure brings a wealth of knowledge and experience, with a strong background in ethics and public records," said Council Member Megan Moscoso, highlighting Treasure's historic appointment. "We are honored to welcome her as the first female City Attorney in the history of Titusville. I have no doubt she will serve our community with excellence and integrity."
Attorney Treasure earned her law degree from St. Thomas University College of Law in Miami Gardens in 2000 and her bachelor's degree in political science and government from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton in 1995. She succeeds former City Attorney Richard Broome, who retired in May 2025 after 20 years of service with the city.
