Parks & Recreation Department Earns Three Regional Awards
The Garland Parks & Recreation Department received three awards at the Texas Recreation and Park Society (TRAPS) Regional Conference on Nov. 3. The TRAPS North Region recognizes individuals and organizations that make outstanding contributions to parks and recreation.
The department earned the Recreation Facility Design Award for the Holford Recreation Center & Aquatic Facility, as well as the Park Design Excellence Award for Lottie Watson Park. Caitlyn Godfrey with Volunteer Garland was named Part-Time Employee of the Year.
These honors celebrate the department's commitment to innovative design, community impact and the dedication of its talented team.
