City Hall Closed for Labor Day 2026

Lancaster, CA. September 3, 2026 -- All City of Lancaster offices will be closed on Monday, September 7, in observance of Labor Day. City offices will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, September 8. In the meantime, we encourage you to continue utilizing the services we offer online at www.cityoflancasterca.gov. Labor Day is a national holiday that honors the contributions and achievements of American workers, serving as a time for relaxation and reflection on the importance of labor rights and fair working conditions. On this day, we honor the hard work of the dedicated workers who help shape and sustain our country.

City Hall's regular business hours are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and Fridays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The City Maintenance Yard's normal hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday; and Fridays 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
