Nationwide Children’s Named to U.S. News & World Report Honor Roll for 13th Consecutive Year

(COLUMBUS, Ohio) - Nationwide Children's has been named to the U.S. News & World Report Best Children's Hospitals Honor Roll for the 13th consecutive year. One of only 10 children's hospitals in the nation to receive this top distinction for excellence in pediatric healthcare, Nationwide Children's also is recognized as tied for No. 1 in Ohio and the Midwest.

For the third year, U.S. News has not given numbered rankings to its 10 Honor Roll hospitals, and instead lists them alphabetically. The publication does recognize the best hospitals in each state and region and specialty services with numerical rankings.

• Diabetes and Endocrine Disorders - No. 13
• Gastroenterology and GI Surgery - No. 3
• Neonatal Care - No. 13
• Nephrology - No. 6
• Neurology and Neurosurgery - No. 8
• Orthopedics - No. 8
• Pulmonology - No. 7
• Urology - No. 5
• Behavioral Health - Top 50

For the third year, U.S. News & World Report has recognized Nationwide Children's among the "Top 50" pediatric hospitals for Behavioral Health Services. This list recognizes the "Top 50" without specific, individual rankings.

The U.S. News & World Report rankings assist parents, in consultation with their children's doctors, in finding exceptional pediatric care - whether for serious illness, a high-stakes surgery or complex medical needs.

For the 2026-2027 rankings, U.S. News, together with RTI International, a North Carolina-based research firm, collected and analyzed data from 114 children's hospitals and surveyed thousands of pediatric specialists. Children's hospitals awarded a "Best" designation excelled at factors such as clinical outcomes, compliance with established best practices, and level and quality of hospital resources directly related to patient care.
