June 17, 2026 - The City of St. Petersburg is seeking residents to serve on multiple boards and committees. See below for vacancies.

Arts Advisory Committee - Two Vacancies

The mission of the Arts Advisory Committee (AAC) is to support and encourage the diverse artistic and cultural activities within the City that will meet the artistic and cultural needs of the community and its varied citizenry. The AAC will work to promote these goals to benefit the citizens of the City, to ensure that attention is given to fostering and stimulating new and emerging arts and cultural expressions, and to preserving the multicultural and multiethnic nature of art and culture in the City. The AAC awards and funding recommendations for the Arts and Culture Grant program are subject to City Council approval. More information at https://www.stpete.org/AAC

Committee to Advocate for Persons with Impairments - One Vacancy

CAPI (Committee to Advocate for Persons with Impairments) is a group of residents appointed by the Mayor with advice and consent of City Council to advise on issues and to advocate on behalf of persons with disabilities. CAPI provides the City with guidance relative to the concerns, rights, special needs and dignity of persons with disabilities to ensure their full participation in and enjoyment of the City's facilities, programs, and services. Development Review Commission - One Current Vacancy, Two Upcoming Vacancies

The Development Review Commission (DRC) acts as the Land Development Regulation Commission (LDRC) for the purposes of and as required by the Local Government Comprehensive Planning and Land Development Regulation Act to review and evaluate proposed modifications to the Land Development Regulations, except as to certain historic and archaeological preservation matters where the Community Preservation Commission serves as the LDRC. Investment Oversight Committee - One Vacancy

The Investment Oversight Committee (IOC) meets to discuss prior investment activities, recommend changes in investment strategies, and make suggestions on portfolio management and internal controls. The committee will keep minutes and provide recommendations to the Mayor, City Council, and City Council's Budget, Finance & Taxation Committee. Public Arts Commission - Three Vacancies

The mission of the Public Arts Commission (PAC) is to expand public experience and exposure to culture through various art forms, to enhance the appearance of public facilities; to improve the aesthetic environment of the City on behalf of its citizens; and to provide for the incorporation of art in the design and construction of public facilities within the City.
