Balloon Shows USA Hot Air Balloon Festival set for Dover Motor Speedway, July 10-11

A summer spectacle is set to arrive at Dover Motor Speedway next month as the Balloon Shows USA Hot Air Balloon Festival brings a weekend full of family friendly entertainment to The Monster Mile on July 10-11.

Thousands of guests are expected to attend the two-day event, which will transform the footprint used for music festivals and RV camping at Dover Motor Speedway into a vibrant festival atmosphere featuring multiple hot air balloons, tethered balloon rides, a live DJ, craft vendors, delicious food and beverage options, a kids zone, and activities for all ages.

One of the festival's signature attractions will be tethered hot air balloon rides, offering attendees the chance to experience a real hot air balloon ascent for $35 per person.

Gates open at 5 p.m. each day, and as daylight fades, the festival will culminate with a nightly Hot Air Balloon Glow and Laser Show beginning at approximately 9 p.m. Giant illuminated balloons, synchronized bursts of flame and colorful lasers will light up the night sky as part of the festival's grand finale.

Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets, family and friends for an evening under the stars.

Tickets are limited and organizers expect the event to sell out. Advance ticket purchases are strongly encouraged.
