Rialto Vista View Fire Relief Fund

The Rialto Vista View Fire Relief Fund is the official City of Rialto fund established by the City of Rialto City Council to provide critical support to our neighbors who are recovering from a devastating fire at the Vista View apartments in Rialto, CA. The fund will be managed by City of Rialto staff with oversight from the Rialto City Council who will oversee the fund's structure and eventual distribution, to ensure transparent allocation of resources, pursuant to the City of Rialto's policies.

On Friday, November 21, 2025 Rialto Fire responded to reports of smoke at the Vista View Apartments located at 1031 S Cactus Ave. Upon arriving at the scene, Fire crews identified fire showing from the roofline of a second-floor unit in a two-story apartment building consisting of 16 total units. Fire crews immediately initiated a rapid and aggressive fire attack on the second floor while simultaneously confirming that all residents were safely evacuated from the structure. As fire conditions intensified and firefighting efforts were challenged by structural failure to the roof system additional resources were immediately called to the incident. Fire crews were able to limit the spread of the fire and prevent further damage.

While no injuries or loss of life occurred as a result of the fire, multiple families, including over 70 people, have been severely impacted by the devastation of this fire. Every story of loss and displacement is unique to the families affected, but the themes are consistent. Our community faces a myriad of challenges:

Loss of Homes & Housing Instability - Many are currently in temporary housing or shelter. Families are in need of support to transition to permanent housing.

Financial Hardship - Some families may have experienced lost wages due to job disruptions. With mounting bills, and emergency expenses, families are struggling to meet their most basic needs.

Essential Supplies & Daily Necessities - Those displaced have lost everything: clothing, food, school supplies for children, and more. The community is in desperate need of immediate relief.

The Rialto Vista View Fire Relief Fund is a Rialto-centered relief fund with proceeds to be directly dispersed to those impacted by the fire. By coordinating with community stakeholders, we'll ensure that aid reaches those who have been impacted. The City has allocated an additional fund that will supplement all donations raised through this fundraiser to support those in need.

With your generosity, we can provide meaningful aid to those who need it now.

Donors should consult with their own legal or accounting adviser as to whether their donation is tax deductible.
