Deputy Secretary-General of ASEAN for Community and Corporate Affairs meets Australia’s Minister for Home Affairs

The Deputy Secretary-General of ASEAN for Community and Corporate Affairs, H.E. Nararya S Soeprapto, met the Minister for Home Affairs of Australia, the Honourable Tony Burke MP, at the ASEAN Headquarters/ASEAN Secretariat today. The meeting reaffirmed the long-standing ASEAN-Australia partnership in combatting transnational crime and highlighted progress under existing cooperation frameworks, including law enforcement, border management and illicit drugs. Both sides also exchanged views on the shared commitment to further strengthening practical cooperation in support of ASEAN's priorities.
