Upcoming Planned Roadwork for Northeast Missouri, September 15 - 26, 2025

HANNIBAL - The following is a list of general highway maintenance work the Missouri Department of Transportation has planned in the Northeast Missouri region for the next few weeks.

All road closures and planned roadwork may be viewed on the Traveler Information Map at http://traveler.modot.org/map/.

Inclement weather may cause schedule changes in some of the planned work. There may also be moving operations throughout the region, in addition to the work mentioned below. MoDOT asks drivers to work with us by buckling up, putting your phone down, slowing down and moving over in work zones.

Adair County

Route V - September 15 - 16, CLOSED for patching operations from Missouri Route 6 to Wilson Town Road near Gibbs between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.

Macon County

Route V - September 15, CLOSED for culvert replacement operations from Otter Avenue to Mahogany Street between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Route V - September 16 - 18 & 22 - 25, CLOSED for culvert replacement operations from Mahogany Street to Oxford Street between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.

Monroe County

U.S. Route 24 - September 15, LANE RESTRICTION for grinding high joints from Business Route 24 to Route W between 7:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

U.S. Route 24 - September 16 - 19 & 22, LANE RESTRICTION for shoulder work from Business Route 24 and Route A between 7:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. daily.

Route EE - September 16 - 18 & 22, CLOSED for culvert replacement from U.S. Route 36 and CR 377 between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.

Ralls County

U.S. Route 61 Northbound - September 17 - 19 & 22 - 26, LANE RESTRICTION for patching operations from Missouri Route 19 to Route M between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.

Randolph County

Route AA - September 15 - 16, CLOSED for patching operations from Route A to CR 2630 between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.

Shelby County

Route Z - September 23 - 25, CLOSED for culvert replacement operations from Missouri Route 168 to U.S. Route 36 between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.

Route AA - September 15, CLOSED for culvert replacement operations from Missouri Route 15 to Route T between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

With an increased number of highway work zones in Missouri, we urge all drivers to pay attention every second while driving, especially through a work zone.
