TIA's EVAC Council to Host Webinar on Lifting EVs for Service and Battery Removal

Bowie, Md. - The Tire Industry Association's Electric Vehicle Advisory Council (EVAC) will host a webinar titled "Lifting EVs for General Service and Battery Removal," presented by Trevor Coleman of Challenger Lifts, on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, from 1:30-3:00 p.m. EST.

As the tire and service industry continues to adapt to the rapid growth of electric vehicles, this session will focus on the critical steps and tools needed to properly lift EVs-whether for around-the-wheel work or for safe battery removal.

Trevor Coleman, an industry expert with Challenger Lifts, will share practical guidance and proven techniques to help shops expand their EV service capabilities, ensuring both safety and efficiency.

"Highlighting the safety aspects of lifting EVs is critical as the industry evolves, and this webinar will give service providers the knowledge they need to do the job right," said Dick Gust, TIA CEO.
